Cole Harbour C@P Site

End of the Summer!

And so ends another great summer here at the Cole Harbour C@P Site.  We ran 8 successful weeks of day camps this summer.  But as with all great things, this summer has to end, and business will be returning to usual beginning on August 30th.  We're ironing out a few details with the new schedule for the Fall, but stay tuned for more information on that.  Here's to hoping everyone had a great summer, and an even better Fall!

Scratch Download

This week and next we have the Computers and Technology camp running here at the C@P Site.  One of the popular programs we use is a game and animation design program, called Scratch.  It was created at MIT, and is available as a free download here.  I encourage you to download it and try it out!

New Hours

The C@P Site hours for the month of June will be from 9AM to 4PM, Monday to Friday, and 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Mondays.  This will be until July 5th, 2010.  At that point, hours will be reduced to lunch time (12-2pm).  This will make room for the kids day camps which will be taking place during the summer.  Regular hours will resume on August 30th, 2010.

Raffle Baskets

In addition to our fundraising efforts with the Silent Auction, we are also having a raffle basket to be drawn June 26th.  The prizes are a first and second prize gift basket, worth roughly $100!  Tickets are $2 each, or 3 for $5, and can be purchased at the C@P site.  They can also be purchased the in the lobby of Cole Harbour Place on Friday, June 18th.  All proceeds go to the Cole Harbour C@P Site, so come help us out!

UPDATE: Our raffle was a great success! Thanks to all those who bought tickets to support us, and congratulations to our two winners!  We look forward to bringing you more services in the future!

Fundraising Auction

UPDATE: The "Donnie and the Monarchs" dance has been cancelled, hopefully to be scheduled at a later date.  Unfortunately this goes as well for the auction we had planned.  The raffle basket tickets will still be sold, and we hope to reschedule later.  Thanks for your support.
